The National Organization for Women (NOW) is devoted to achieving full equality for women through education and litigation.

In 2019 and years prior dress code violations have been especially prolific in middle & high schools. They impede personal expression, increase marginalization, and reinforce gender stereotypes.

NOW Oregon developed a model dress code to bring fairness and self expression back into first day of school outfits. This is a campaign to launch that dress code to the larger public.

STUNT / OOH / DIGITAL

step 1

measure fearless girl's skirt

Because if the girl we teach our daughters about in school (as a symbol of female power nonetheless) has a skirt that doesn't match general dress code skirt requirements, why should they?

quick ex-catholic school author's note: reminder that school's measure from the bottom of the knee :)))))

step 2

blow it up

Special thanks to Fearless Girl for letting us give her some nice signage around her to promote our shared cause.

step 3

LINK IT. DRIVE IT. DO IT.

All coverage by NOW of the Fearless Girl stunt will drive to NOW's Model Dress Code landing page, fit with more information about the model dress code, parent & teacher guides, and a list of ways to implement change at your or your child's school.
Using Snapchat, those who visit the statue installation in person will be able to snap a photo that drives them to this same landing page.
Additionally, the landing page will offer merchandise including stickers, temporary tattoos, and
t-shirts to bring the fight for equality and self expression to schools every where.
